How to circumcise the foreskin at home

Circumcision (circumcision) is a common surgical procedure among men.

Someone goes for surgery for medical reasons, some for religious reasons, while others like the ease of hygiene and the aesthetic appearance of the penis after circumcision.

It is usually enough to go to the hospital in order to part with a piece of flesh, but some individuals decide to make a circumcision to themselves or their child at home.

We will talk about how to do circumcision at home and how reasonable this is in this article.

From a theoretical point of view

It's possible.

The operation is not intracavitary, that is, it is not necessary to open the body cavities in order to get to the necessary organ.

Cutting off the foreskin is easy, as, for example, the ear or nose (although the latter are more beneficial for the body).

This point of view is confirmed by numerous “tips” on the Internet, the essence of the answers to the question: “How to circumcise yourself?” Boils down to: “Take a knife / ax / saw, put your penis on the table, pull the foreskin and cut / cut / shred! ".

From a practical point of view

Male circumcision at home is quite difficult, but doable.. We will not consider the situation in which the patient calls a professional surgeon at home, although technically this is also a circumcision at home. Consider the following set of conditions: a man himself or with the help of a third party who is not a doctor does circumcision on his own.

How to do circumcision at home yourself and what you need:

Any operation implies a violation of the integrity of the protective integument of the body, and pathogens can enter the latter through an opening gap. Expendable materials.

Gloves, alcohol, cotton wool, hydrogen peroxide - everything, as in the operating room. Tool for operation.

Fixers, scissors, threads and needles for suturing are desirable, but in extreme cases, a knife will be enough. Bravery.

Where without her?

The procedure is as follows:

  • We boil a tool (meaning a knife or scissors), put on gloves, wipe all working surfaces and the operated organ with alcohol, then anesthetize.
  • Conventionally, we outline the cut line, we pull the foreskin so that the line is behind the head.
  • Cut off the foreskin.
  • Abundantly water the wound with hydrogen peroxide, impose a tight dressing.
  • If something went wrong - call an ambulance.
  • Did he circumcise himself? But something went wrong:

      Bleeding.

The foreskin has several rather large blood vessels and many small capillaries. Under stress from surgery, the pressure may increase, which will provoke blood loss. Painful shock.

If there is insufficient anesthesia or its absence, the pain can be so severe that the patient "disconnects" and dies from blood loss. Penis damage.

Pain, doubt or the sound of the front door opening can make the surgeon's hand twitch, and not only the foreskin, but also the head will fall under the knife. The reader can guess the consequences himself.

    Possible complications

When conducting surgery at home, complications are almost inevitable.

In this case, we can distinguish:

      Death.

A rare but most annoying complication. Shock and blood loss will result in death if the patient does not have time to get to the hospital or call an ambulance. In this case, the question of what to do with the foreskin after circumcision will no longer arise! Sepsis.

Try circumcising yourself and get a general blood poisoning with pathogens that have penetrated the wound as a bonus.Sepsis is difficult to treat, often ending in death. Extensive blood loss.

If the patient managed to get medical help, then death can be avoided, but treatment in the hospital (or maybe in a psychiatric one) is inevitable. Local infection.

Not as scary as sepsis, but it requires a long treatment and in advanced cases can cause amputation of the penis.

  • Penis injury. Eggplant deformity (the penis is filled with blue, thickens and bends), the urethral fistula (urination is not through the urethra), partial or complete amputation of the head is not a complete list of injuries that you can inflict with a trembling hand.
  • Unattractive appearance.

The penis after circumcision looks more aesthetic, but only if the circumcision itself is done correctly. If the patient removed too little / too much foreskin and did not suture, then after healing the penis will look even less attractive.

Do-it-yourself circumcision is definitely cool! But why is it better to have an operation in a hospital?

People who in every sense engage in self-mutilation at home do not take into account some factors.:

  • In the hospital, before the operation, they conduct an examination and take tests to understand the patient's condition. Sometimes, in addition to circumcision, you need plastic bridle or alignment of the penis, which will be done right during the operation. But only a qualified doctor can say this.
  • Circumcision can be done at home ... But, operating rooms in hospitals are sterile, and surgeons know their job, and the patient may not be afraid of blood loss, infection or accidental removal of the penis.
  • Any operation for the body is a risk, and if complications arise, then in the hospital resuscitators and anesthetists are more likely than in the apartment.
  • After surgery, sometimes it takes time for rehabilitation and additional procedures that a doctor may prescribe. This option is possible, for example, if a man is circumcised in adulthood, and a head that has never been exposed before has tremendous sensitivity.
  • Technically, circumcision can be done on its own or with the help of another person who is not a surgeon. And now you even know how to do circumcision at home! But this event can end in tears both during it (death from blood loss) and after (life with a partially cut off head).

To avoid possible risks, you need to contact the clinicin which surgeons will remove the interfering flesh, and doctors will monitor the patient’s healing process.

You are still worried about the questions: “How to do circumcision at home and where does the foreskin go after circumcision?” We recommend that you read the article one more time first.

    Indications

In certain ethnic groups circumcision of the foreskin is a mandatory manipulation that is carried out for every boy. For example, male circumcision is practiced in Muslim and Jewish families. This is a tribute to traditions and religious beliefs. But, in addition to this, there are medical indications for performing this intervention in men. These include the following:

These conditions are characterized by a narrowing of the foreskin of the penis, as a result of which it becomes impossible to roll it back and open the head. The photo shows the severity of phimosis.

    Phimosis has several degrees

And the next photo clearly demonstrates the difference between phimosis and paraphimosis.

    Paraphimosis requires urgent surgery

And the video shows the progress of circumcision with this pathology of men.

Condylomas are benign growths, which can also affect the glans penis and foreskin. The reason for their appearance lies in the infection with the human papillomavirus. The photo shows this pathology

    Candylomas are benign lesions

Circumcision of the foreskin in this case is a radical way to fix the problem. It should be noted that it is necessary to resort to its use in cases of ineffectiveness of conservative therapy.

This is a precancerous condition that can subsequently lead to the appearance of a malignant tumor of the penis. But not always the removal of the foreskin can stop the progression of the pathological process.

How common is male circumcision in the world?

According to the WHO, approximately 1/3 - 1/6 of the male population of our planet are subjected to circumcision, almost 70% of them are Muslims. This operation is most common in Muslim countries, Israel, the USA (up to 80% of the male population), in Africa, in the countries of Southeast Asia, Korea.

In Judaism, circumcision is a religious law, in Islam it is an ancient tradition. Circumcision of the foreskin is rarely done in Europe, in the countries of Oceania, South Africa, and Latin America.

How to get rid of prostatitis without the help of doctors, at home ?!

    • to stop the pain
    • normalize urination
    • so that sexual desire and the opportunity to have sexual intercourse

    Common Circumcision Myths

The causes of the appearance of circumcision in men and boys in different countries have a different interpretation.

    For instance:

    • circumcision in a boy symbolizes that he becomes a man,
    • it’s a sacrifice to the god (s), which guarantees future male fertility,
    • circumcision means a higher status of a man in society.

Of course, in different cultures circumcision arose for various reasons. There are modern myths justifying its existence.

    These include:

    • The myth that circumcision prevents the accumulation of dirt under the crease of the skin on the penis. Opponents of this statement give their argument: the daily elementary procedure of personal hygiene eliminates this.
    • Another statement: circumcised do not have penile cancer, because its cause is the discharge of sebaceous glands (smegma) that accumulate on the head of the penis under the foreskin. When circumcised, smegma is erased and, thus, the risk of getting a terrible disease disappears. However, penile cancer in men is extremely rare, and the assertion that its cause is the lack of circumcision of the foreskin sounds unconvincing to most experts. They also believe that circumcision does not save from AIDS either, although there is an opinion that during sex the head of the penis is rude and supposedly not injured, that is, the possibility of any infection disappears.
    • Opponents of circumcision warn: this operation certainly leads to the fact that the penis becomes much shorter during an erection in boys and men. Her supporters object: yes, it is possible, but not fatal - only if the operation is performed by an inexperienced specialist.
    • The following statement is also under doubt: after circumcision, the man becomes hypersexual, the quality of sex increases. However, as a result of the removal of the foreskin, nerve endings are exposed on the head of the male organ, and sexual intercourse ends faster, that is, the woman remains unsatisfied. Can this be considered a merit of such an operation?
    • The myth that the naked head of the penis of a circumcised man looks much more beautiful, causes a lot of sarcastic objections. Beauty is an aesthetic concept, each has its own and therefore cannot be a universal reason for circumcision.

Male circumcision: what are the goals and reasons?

So, circumcision can be performed for various reasons and for different purposes:

    • national
    • religious
    • sexual
    • hygienic
    • medical.

All these goals have quite convincing pros and cons, so the decision about whether or not to perform circumcision is made by the boy’s parents or the adult man himself.

    Medical indications for circumcision

Convincing medical indications for getting rid of the foreskin are the following diseases:

    1. phimosis - the foreskin is motionless, the head of the penis does not open. This is normal for baby boys. With age, it must necessarily open, and if this does not happen before the age of 14, then a diagnosis of phimosis is made. If you neglect the operation, then it is difficult for men, and then urination stops, which poses a threat to their life,
    2. paraphimosis - This is a kind of complication of phimosis. The foreskin squeezes the head when trying to open it and blocks the access of blood. In the absence of emergency medical measures, there is a threat of tissue death (necrosis),
    3. balanoposthitis - inflammation of the head and foreskin of the penis,
    4. injuries or scarring of the foreskin,
    5. repeated infection,
    6. fusion of the foreskin with the glans penis (in old age) when the urinary canal closes.

    Preparation for surgery

The psychological and practical preparation of the patient for the operation to circumcise the foreskin includes a number of standard actions:

    • At the initial consultation, the urologist examines the patient, determines the condition of the foreskin and decides how the operation will be carried out, whether there are contraindications to its conduct, whether the patient suffers from concomitant diseases, what negative consequences may be from surgical intervention, plans ways to prevent them.
    • The doctor must tell the patient how the penis will look in men after surgerywhat tests to take and in what time frame, to prescribe an ECG, if necessary, recommends consulting other specialists (for example, a therapist).
    • Patient receives instructions for preparing directly for surgery: shave the pubic hair and penis, empty the bladder, wash thoroughly.
    • For postoperative surgical care the patient must purchase sterile wipes, bandages, and disinfectants in advance.

    Our readers recommend it!

    Contraindications to the circumcision procedure

The circumcision is considered uncomplicated. However, there are a number of contraindications that exclude its possibility.

    Absolute contraindications include:

    • congenital and acquired deformities of the genital organ, requiring its reconstruction,
    • malignant and benign tumors,
    • genitourinary tract infections,
    • poor blood coagulation.

    Relative contraindications for circumcision:

    • densification of the tissue of the foreskin and severe compression of the head of the penis in some chronic diseases, which makes it impossible to open the head,
    • gross scars, scars on the penis (consequences of injuries),
    • condylomas, warts on the penis (the threat of severe bleeding during the operation),
    • general signs of a patient’s disease at the time of surgery (fever, poor tests),
    • the presence of ulcers, sores, redness, rashes on the penis, purulent discharge from the genital tract,

If there are contraindications to the operation, the decision on the possibility of its implementation is made by the doctor.

    Male circumcision procedure

    The procedure is as follows:

    • The operation lasts 1-2 hours, adults are given under local anesthesia and are most often outpatient.
    • The operation is performed for babies without anesthesia., since they do not yet have nerve endings in the foreskin. Boys from 2 months to 14 years old are given general anesthesia.
    • Depending on where exactly and how much skin is removed, there are 5 of its options: minimal, partial, free, medium or tight excision of the foreskin.
    • The penis is first treated with disinfectants, and then the doctor carries out the marking, that is, using a special marker, gently draws lines and cuts the foreskin very carefully along them.
    • At the end of the operation, catgut sutures are applied, which subsequently dissolves itself. A sterile dressing will protect wound surfaces from infection.

The least traumatic and painless is considered laser cutting, but many surgeons do not see any special advantages in it.

    Where to circumcise?

Circumcision is carried out in urological departments of specialized clinics, where the patient is guaranteed a high-quality and safe approach to surgery, taking into account his wishes. But on the Internet you can find many suggestions and descriptions of this procedure at home.

In sterile clinic conditions, postoperative complications are until 3%, and at home, this figure is many times higher. Of these, patient dissatisfaction with the results of the operation and inflammatory processes in the penis are the easiest. Amputation of the head, urethral fistula, necrosis of the penis, etc. are very frequent - very serious postoperative complications.

    Rehabilitation and postoperative care

    So, tips after surgery:

    • Recovery period lasts from several weeks to 2-3 months, depending on the regenerative qualities of the body. The doctor may prescribe wound healing drugs for oral administration. Dressings are carried out either at home or in dressings.
    • In order not to injure delicate scars, the bandage is moistened with hydrogen peroxide, and the wound is treated with an antiseptic.
    • Dressings in the first 2-3 days are performed 3-5 times a day, then 1 time a day.
    • Surgical scar repair occurs in 10-12 days, after which the dressings cease.
    • If there is swelling, recommended salt baths for the penis (1 teaspoon of salt per glass of water).
    • When pus appears, a large tumor of the penis, high temperature should immediately consult your doctor.
    • Sexual acts prohibited for one and a half to two months, and then resolved using condoms for several months.
    • In the first 4-5 days after surgery It is recommended to observe bed rest, any pressure on the penis, including underwear, is categorically excluded.
    • During rehabilitation It is necessary to avoid physical exertion and weight lifting, walking up the stairs.

    Complications after circumcision

No matter how simple the operation is, some complications after it are inevitable. The task of the doctor and the patient himself is to minimize their number and consequences.

After circumcision, such complications may occur:

    • In case of non-compliance with sanitary standards, an infection can get into the wound and cause serious complications up to violation of urination and curvature of the penis.
    • Without natural lubrication, the penis head is dry, irritated by friction on underwear and in contact with urine.
    • Sometimes after removal of the foreskin in a man, sensations during sexual intercourse do not change for the better.
    • Bleeding, occlusion of the urethra, damage to the urethra, scars on the penis, remnants of the flesh complicating sex, partial or complete amputation of the head of the penis, its deformation due to insufficient experience of the surgeon are now quite rare (1-3%).

    Conclusion

Studying this topic on literature and materials on the Internet can lead to confusion and raise the question with an edge: so how much is useful or harmful circumcision? How necessary is it?

Thus, the decision on whether to circumcise or not, each adult man must make himself, guided by significant religious, national, ethical or other considerations.

Do circumcision in children? Their parents decide this, although there are many objections to this: no one has the right to take away part of the body from a person without his consent.

One thing is certain: if a man consciously goes for such an operation, then it must be carried out in a specialized medical institution by an experienced doctor in compliance with all sanitary standards, taking into account modern medical advances.

Circumcision is a surgical operation or traditional practice, which consists in cutting off the foreskin of the penis in the stronger sex.

    Circumcision goals:

    • Social. Prevention of perverse sexual practices, regulation of sexuality, initiation.
    • Religious. Today it is practiced mainly among Jews and Muslims.
    • Medical. Disease prevention or anatomical deficiency.
    • National Jewish affiliation to the Jewish people - Brit Mila.

Important! When they talk about surgery, they mean circumcision in men. For women, the term female circumcision is used.

    How do circumcisions in men

When circumcised for medical reasons, the foreskin is cut off around the entire circumference. An operation is performed under local anesthesia, in some cases under general anesthesia..

In some countries of Europe, the USA and Southeast Asia, circumcision is performed using various clamps, selecting them according to the size of the penis. The clip plays the role of a protective shield that protects the head of the penis from cuts. After the operation, sutures are applied or clamps are used that are not removed until the wound is completely healed.

In Russia they use “manual equipment”. The surgeon simply cuts off the foreskin. The edges of the wound are sutured with absorbable suture material.

Modern medicine uses the laser method. This method allows you to make an accurate incision, which significantly reduces the risk of amputation and cosmetic defects. Laser cutting is characterized by a short rehabilitation period. The operation is completely sterile and does not involve the imposition of pressure dressings and tourniquets.

    Varieties of circumcision:

    • the minimum - remove a small area of the foreskin,
    • partial - the urethral opening is left open,
    • moderate - the glans penis is made open,
    • tight - excise the entire foreskin.

    Why do circumcisions: medical indications

The attitude of doctors to mass circumcision of newborns is diametrically opposed. Some consider this an atavism, devoid of any scientific justification, others believe that this is a very important measure for the prevention of various diseases.

The operation is the prevention of a number of diseases:

    • Urinary tract infection and inflammation. Some men suffer from a congenital condition such as phimosis. The defect is accompanied by a partial fusion of the foreskin of the head, which entails pain during urination and an attempt to push the foreskin back. In the preputial sac, smegma accumulates, which, irritating, causes itching and inflammation of the head of the penis. Phimosis in children under three years of age is physiological in nature and is diagnosed in 80% of patients. In most cases, this phenomenon disappears with age, so surgery is required only as a last resort.
    • Oncological diseases. Smegma is carcinogenic, so penile head cancer in uncircumcised men is diagnosed much more often.
    • Difficulty urinating. The mismatch of the position of the opening of the foreskin with the external opening of the urethra makes it difficult for urine to escape, which leads to its delay in the prepuce bag and an increase in the volume of the bladder.
    • Skin diseases. The risk of skin diseases of the penis in uncircumcised men increases three times. Smegma is a breeding ground for various pathogenic viruses and bacteria.
    • AIDS Prevention. Scientists have proven that circumcision significantly reduces the risk of contracting HIV infection. WHO considers circumcision as a preventative measure.

    Arguments Against Circumcision

    The main arguments against circumcision:

    • Painful shock. In the case when the operation is performed without anesthesia, the patient experiences severe pain that can cause pain shock. This is especially true for newborns.
    • Hygiene. The head of the penis of a boy in infancy is self-cleaning. After circumcision, there is an urgent need for careful care of the glans penis. Viruses and bacteria can intensively develop in folds and indentations in the bridle region. The foreskin provides protection against them.
    • Contradiction to ethical standards. A number of environmental and human rights organizations claim that the removal of any part of the body should be carried out only with the consent of the person. The baby cannot give such consent, which means that the procedure for circumcising children is inhuman and should be prohibited.
    • Complications and consequences of circumcision. An operation performed by a man who has not reached puberty can cause severe physical injuries: gangrene, penis retraction into the body, bleeding, adhesions, bends due to lack of skin, accidental clipping of the glans penis, varicose veins, complete loss of sensitivity and etc.

    Stages of surgical intervention

Religious circumcision is performed in early childhood. In this case, the principle "the sooner the better." Otherwise, there are no age-related contraindications.

Now let's take a closer look at how circumcision is done for men. Special preparation before surgery is not required. A standard list of tests will be sufficient to eliminate contraindications.

After that, the doctor selects the appropriate type of anesthesia. This is usually local anesthesia, but in special cases there may be intravenous anesthesia. With adequate anesthesia, excision of the foreskin is completely painless. For local anesthesia, novocaine or lidocaine is usually used. Actually, anesthesia is the first stage of male circumcision. The following steps are ahead:

    1. Excision of the foreskin, as a result of which it is possible to expose the head of the penis.
    2. Stopping bleeding from blood vessels - hemostasis.
    3. Suturing (the most rational use of self-absorbable sutures).
    4. Bandage application.

More details on how circumcision is done are shown in the video.

    And also on video

The following video demonstrates how postoperative dressing is performed.

It is important to note that the amount of intervention depends on the technique used. Their differences are in how many millimeters it is possible to expose the glans penis as a result of male circumcision. On this basis, the following methods are distinguished:

    • Partial circumcision - incomplete opening of the head.
    • Minimal - only a separate small area of the foreskin, such as a scar, is excised.
    • Free - circumcision, in which it is possible to completely expose the head of the penis.
    • Tight - all the foreskin is removed, while the skin is tightened and the head of the penis becomes almost motionless.
    • High - accompanied by the removal of a significant part of the skin.
    • Low - all internal tissues of the foreskin in men are removed.

The question of how much tissue of the foreskin needs to be removed is decided by the doctor. However, the wishes of the man are taken into account.

    Cost

The most accurate information on how much circumcision costs can be obtained at the selected medical institution. Of course, the price will depend on the type of ownership of the clinic. That is, in a private clinic, the procedure usually costs a little more. But still, let's try to determine how much the intervention costs on average.

On average, in Moscow, male circumcision costs from 10 thousand to 50 thousand rubles. The amount is given taking into account all the necessary tests, anesthesia, postoperative dressings and removal of sutures. In regions, the price may be less.

Now that it has become clear why circumcision is done and, most importantly, how it is done, everyone can draw certain conclusions for themselves and decide whether or not to undergo this intervention.

Numerous photos and videos will also help you make a choice.

In any case, it is important to remember that from a medical point of view, male circumcision has a beneficial effect on the body, moreover, it does not hurt.

    Venereology

It has been proven that circumcision protects against HIV infection. Cases of infection in uncircumcised men are eight times more than circumcised. As suggested, this is due to the fact that after circumcision, the skin of the head of the penis coarsens, which means microcracks through which viruses can enter the body are formed much less frequently.

Circumcised boys are less likely to develop infections of the genitourinary system.

Circumcision makes the skin of the head of the penis denser. This reduces its sensitivity, which helps to increase the time of sexual intercourse and prevent premature ejaculation.

Every man has the right to choose. But in any case, you need to consult with a specialist, weigh the pros and cons, and only then make a decision.

To avoid complications, circumcision should only be performed by an experienced doctor. In addition, you must follow all the rules for caring for the penis after surgery. You need to be especially careful with babies. Circumcision is performed no earlier than the eighth day after birth.

Circumcision of the foreskin or is an operation that is performed for religious, medical, hygienic and even psychological reasons. Usually infants and young boys are exposed to it, but sometimes circumcision is also performed for adult men.

Before deciding on an operation, you should find out all the details about it, as well as take care of the correct postoperative care.

From this article you will learn how circumcision is done correctly, under anesthesia or not, and photos of circumcision are presented here in sufficient quantity.

To remove the foreskin in adults, there are many indications. They can be divided into:

    1. Religious Male circumcision is characteristic of Judaism and Islam. If a man comes to a particular denomination at a conscious age, he undergoes a procedure that children usually go through.
    2. Medical. Male circumcision is necessary for cicatricial phimosis and other pathologies of the penis, as well as for frequent genitourinary infections (bacterial, viral, fungal).
    3. Hygienic. The procedure is more often performed in countries with a hot climate, where there is a lack of water and high statistics of infectious diseases.
    4. Sexual Circumcision allows prolonging sexual intercourse and avoiding premature ejaculation.
    5. Aesthetic. Overgrown foreskin completely covers the head of the penis, making it unattractive. When it is removed, the penis looks smoother and larger, both men and their partners like it.

Urologists believe that adult circumcision should be performed only for medical reasons. The most common cause for circumcision is phimosis, paraphimosis, a shortened frenulum of the glans penis.

These defects interfere with normal sexual activity, in some cases they can make urination difficult. Usually, surgery is performed at a young age, but sometimes pathologies occur in elderly patients.

Another good reason for circumcision is to reduce the risk of cancer. They are provoked by smegma - a secret that accumulates under the foreskin. Removing skin folds by 80% reduces the risk of penile head cancer in men and malignant cervical tumors in their partners. There is evidence that male circumcision helps reduce the incidence of AIDS.

There are practically no contraindications to the procedure. Some caution should be observed for men with reduced blood coagulation. Circumcision is not done in acute inflammatory diseases; in the severe form of chronic ailments, a specialist consultation is necessary.

    Surgical methods

Circumcision refers to plastic surgery. Modern surgery offers several options for intervention, the choice depends on the joint decision of the patient and the doctor.

The following options for circumcision are possible:

    1. Partial Often used for phimosis and paraphimosis. Only part of the foreskin is removed, allowing the head to be exposed. At rest, it is half hidden by a skin fold.
    2. Free. Fully opens the head of the penis. A groove forms in the coronal area of the genitals.
    3. The minimum. This circumcision process is used for cicatricial phimosis or excessive growth of the foreskin. Only excess drooping skin is removed; at rest, the head is completely closed.
    4. Tight. All foreskin is cut off, the head is fully open. This circumcision procedure is carried out only after detailed consultation with a urologist, contraindications are possible.
    5. High. It is used for significant overgrowth of the foreskin. The circular postoperative suture may be at different heights.
    6. Low An incision to remove the skin fold is made in the coronal groove, it also hides the postoperative suture.

The circumcision operation is irreversible, therefore, before its beginning, it is necessary to weigh all the advantages and disadvantages. Complications are rare, in some cases an allergy to medications or scar formation is possible.

    Preparation for the procedure

An adult circumcision is performed on an outpatient basis or in a hospital.

    1. For adolescents, general anesthesia is used, adult men are more often given local anesthesia. Without anesthesia, circumcision is impossible.
    2. Before the procedure, you must pass a blood test, confirming the absence of infections and inflammations.
    3. If there are sexually transmitted diseases, it is necessary to completely cure them and only then think about circumcision.

Before surgery, the penis is disinfected with special preparations and clamped with a tourniquet at the base. Anesthetics (lidocaine, ultracaine, ubitezin) are injected into the penis with a thin needle.

How does the circumcision operation go?

So, how does male circumcision occur? The operation of circumcision will be as follows:

    1. After anesthesia, the foreskin is pulled back by clamps, an incision is made on the skin, after which the foreskin is removed in a circle with a scalpel or surgical scissors. The amount of skin removed depends on the circumcision technique chosen.
    2. Usually the bridle of the head is not affected, but with its defect, simultaneous plastic is possible. A too short bridle is dissected along with a scalpel and then stitched with an extension suture. As a result, the skin becomes less sensitive to tears.
    3. After circumcision, the sutures are applied using self-absorbable sutures. The success of adult circumcision surgery depends entirely on the skill of the doctor. Particular attention is required when completely removing the foreskin, as there is a high risk of damage to the head of the penis. Only a specialist can properly circumcise a member!

How long does circumcision take? The average duration of the procedure is 60 minutes.

The following shows how men are circumcised - a photo of the foreskin:

    Postoperative Care: Quick Recovery Secrets

In the first hours after the circumcision and weakening of the anesthesia, the patient may feel pain, which is removed with the help of anesthetics, discomfort completely disappears after 1-2 days.

    1. Postoperative sutures are treated daily. In the first 3 days, the sterile dressing is changed 3 times a day.
    2. Then the procedure can be carried out 1 time per day.The dressing is soaked in hydrogen peroxide or a decoction of pharmacy chamomile, this allows you to remove it without pain and not injure the wound.
    3. Dressings change 10 days, then the seam area remains open. For disinfection, it is treated with hydrogen peroxide or chlorhexidine. The seams do not need to be removed, the threads dissolve on their own.

In some cases, patients observe anemic discharge. Treatment of sutures with Levomekol, a solution of furatsilin or potassium permanganate will help to remove them. Accelerate wound healing will help taking Methyluracil. If bleeding does not stop, urgent consultation of a urologist is necessary.

It is important to monitor the drinking regimen. You can’t drink too much liquid, instead of diuretics such as coffee and black tea, herbal infusions, homemade fruit drinks and clean still water are recommended.

The recovery period lasts about 2 weeks. During this time, the sutures completely heal, swelling subsides, the penis becomes normal. Another 2 weeks is necessary to refrain from sexual intercourse and masturbation.

In the next few months, it is better to use barrier contraceptives (condoms), which reduce the risk of infection or microtrauma. When swelling occurs, baths with table salt are recommended (1 teaspoon per glass of warm water).

Circumcision in adult men is an operation that is performed for medical, hygienic and other indications. There will be no complications, and the recovery period will not be delayed and the patient will quickly return to normal life, subject to the rules of hygiene. Thanks to the article, you learned about circumcision, with the placement of a patient in a hospital or on an outpatient basis, got acquainted with the photo after circumcision surgery. We hope this information was useful to you!

    What is circumcision?

Circumcision of the foreskin, or circumcision, is an operation to remove the foreskin in men. Such an operation can be performed at any age. Most men who have undergone this operation are carriers of cultural and religious ideas, in which circumcision has a special place. Thus, all boys undergo such an operation on the eighth day after birth, and Muslims are operated on at the age of thirteen (although many hurry to do this early before the child goes to school).

Initially, circumcision carried a special meaning - this is a ritual of initiation, that is, the initiation of a boy into a man. The ritual implication of the procedure is long ago in the past, now it is performed as an invariable tradition.

In the middle of the last century, scientists concluded that circumcision can prevent genital malignancies in both men and women. This happens because smegma accumulates in the skin fold of the foreskin. And if hygiene is not followed, smegma becomes a hotbed of bacteria. And such a stagnant smegma is a damaging factor: it can provoke cancer of the foreskin in men and cervical cancer in women. Although these types of cancer are extremely rare, therefore, preventive surgery is not.

    How is the operation

In infancy, up to two months, the circulation is carried out without anesthesia. Older children are operated on under general anesthesia, and adult men undergo local injection anesthesia.

Save the link now so you don’t forget

Before the actual operation, the doctor discusses the type of circumcision: complete, with complete excision and removal of the foreskin, or partial, when in rest, the head of the penis is slightly covered with foreskin. Both types of surgery are performed both for medical reasons and for aesthetic reasons.

After treatment with an antiseptic, the surgeon marks with a special medical marker the border of the foreskin along which the excision will be performed.

In some cases, the foreskin is gripped by clamps, is pulled back and the doctor conducts an excision along the marked border with subsequent removal of tissues. This method is faster, but an organized scar may not be very aesthetic.

Another way of operating is that the surgeon makes two cuts: on the inner sheet of the foreskin and on the outer. The remaining area of skin is removed. After that, both sheets are sewn together.

After surgery, sutures are placed on the wound, most often absorbable, which do not require removal. Further, the wound surface is closed with an aseptic dressing.

Within 10-14 days, the patient should go to dressings and observe a special regimen. Hard physical work is excluded; tight underwear and tight pants and jeans must not be worn. But sexual activity is excluded for 4-5 weeks.

Do circumcision in adulthood or not, it's up to you. But if you decide, treat responsibly the choice of the doctor and the medical institution where the operation will take place.

Why did they start circumcision at all?

Clear. And why continue to do now?

    What is the foreskin for?

    But does circumcision have advantages?

Do you still need to do circumcision or not?

39% of men worldwide went through this procedure. Life hacker understands if this makes any sense.

Why did they start circumcision at all?

Circumcision is one of the oldest surgical practices that people still resort to. The earliest records of her were found in an Egyptian tomb about 2,300 years BC. e.

We did this procedure for different purposes. For example, the Jews, because it is written in the holy book of the Torah: “This is My covenant which you must keep between Me and between you and between your descendants after you in their birth: may the whole male sex be circumcised” ( Genesis 17: 10-14).

The Bible also tells the Christian men to circumcise, but because of the debate about whether the pagans who came to the Church should do this, the ceremony gradually lost its meaning and was actually replaced by baptism.

Muslims also circumcise as a confirmation of their relationship with God. And although the Qur'an does not say Circumcision. In: The Catholic encyclopedia. Robert Appleton Company. about the need for a procedure, this is a prerequisite in order to perform a hajj in Mecca Religious circumcision: a Muslim view. .

The Aztecs, Maya, Native Australians, various African peoples, and other ethnic groups also practice circumcision as a rite of passage for male circumcision. Global trends and determinants of prevalence, safety and acceptability. although initially it could be a test of courage and endurance.

Depending on the nationality, the procedure is done either in infancy, or when changing the social role: from boy to man.

For example, in Uganda, a boy stands on his feet during the ceremony, other men cut off his foreskin with several knives. Naturally, everything is done without anesthesia, the boy should not show that he is hurt.

Some ethnic groups, including Dogon and Dovayo from West Africa, consider Anthropology and circumcision. Annu Rev Anthropol. the foreskin as a female element of the penis, the removal of which (along with passing certain tests) displaces from the male child Ritual circumcision (Umkhwetha) amongst the Xhosa of the Ciskei. .

Clear. And why continue to do now?

In general, the reasons remained the same. 62.1% of men are circumcised for religious reasons Estimation of country-specific and global prevalence of male circumcision. , the rest - for cultural, medical, family (parents circumcise infants). Only about 39% of men in the world are circumcised by Estimation of country-specific and global prevalence of male circumcision. .

In Russia, this figure is much less than in other countries - 11.8%. But even that is almost 8 million.

For comparison, in the United States, 71.2% of men were circumcised. This is the second most popular procedure in the country for infants. Vaccination comes first.

Medical circumcision has become very popular in the 21st century. It is even recommended that the American Academy of Pediatrics Estimation of country-specific and global prevalence of male circumcision. .

    And what's the catch?

There are many questions about circumcision for medical reasons.

The Egyptians did this also for medical purposes: in a drought it was difficult to observe all the necessary hygiene rules, it was easier to get rid of the foreskin.

However, this is a snag: the current level of development of medicine and technology has changed significantly; circumcision for medical reasons has much less sense than is commonly believed. The foreskin is not the extra skin on the penis, it has its own functions.

    What is the foreskin for?

It has many functions. The main three are protective, immune and erogenous.

The foreskin is a special erogenous zone. It contains a rich and complex network of nerves. Both the internal and external folds of the foreskin have a denser distribution of nerve endings than the rest of the penis of the Immunological functions of the human prepuce. .

The rich innervation of the inner part of the foreskin contrasts sharply in sensations with limited sensory capabilities of the penis head. On it, the nerve endings are very close to the surface. This leads to the fact that the direct effect can be felt unpleasantly saturated or painful.

A double layer of the foreskin allows the skin of the penis to glide freely and smoothly over the head. One of the functions of the foreskin is to facilitate movement between the surfaces of the mucous membranes of two partners. It allows the penis to slip into the vagina directly inside its own membrane.

Conventional circumcision removes most of these sensitive areas, radically weakens the penis and immobilizes all the remnants of the foreskin.

Loss of the protective self-lubricating mobile two-layer fold and the gap for smooth friction leads to erasure and personal injury Immunological functions of the human prepuce. . Also, a circumcised man may need more intense action to achieve orgasm. For this reason, a circumcised penis is more likely to cause microcracks, abrasions, and lacerations in the vagina or rectum, and through them, HIV in the semen can come into contact with blood.

The glands present in the foreskin secrete lubricant and protect against infections. The antibacterial enzyme lysozyme in these secretions acts against the harmful microorganisms Phimosis in Children. .

In fact, a circumcised penis in the first years of a person’s life is more susceptible to infections than an uncircumcised Immunological functions of the human prepuce. . An eye without a century will not be cleaner. Same thing with the head of the penis.

    2. Excludes phimosis and paraphimosis

Phimosis is a narrowing of the foreskin around the head of the penis, paraphimosis is an acute form of phimosis.

Obviously, circumcised boys / men do not suffer from phimosis and especially paraphimosis. In addition, they are less likely to suffer from balanoposthitis. But it is important to understand that if the foreskin is handled correctly and hygienic, all of these diseases can be prevented without circumcision.

In addition, scientists recently came to the conclusion of Phimosis in Children. that circumcision in order to treat phimosis is not necessary in most cases. A condition in which the foreskin is firmly attached to the head is the norm for boys under the age of 18 and is found in 96% of Phimosis in Children men. .

And only in 2% does phimosis take on an extreme form when surgical intervention is required. For example, in only 11% of cases, doctors correctly identified the type of phimosis and circumcision was justified by Phimosis in Children. .

    3. Reduces the likelihood of contracting squamous cell carcinoma of the penis

“This cancer grows from the foreskin, and circumcision reduces the risk of it by almost 70%. No skin - no cancer. But there is one thing, - says the urologist. - This type of cancer is very rare. To prevent one case, it is necessary to cut from 1,000 to 300 thousand boys just like that. At the moment, no one is sure that it is worth it. ”

4.Partner's risk of HPV is reduced

HPV is a family of viruses that cause a person's warts, papillomas, dysplasia (abnormal development of tissues, organs or parts of the body) or cervical cancer.

Circumcised men are less likely to be carriers of HPV. So under the condition of monogamy in a relationship, their partners are less likely to get cervical cancer.

    5. The risk of contracting HIV and genital herpes is reduced.

It is believed that circumcision reduces the risk of HIV infection by 63%. that certain bacteria live under the foreskin, which increase the risk of infection.

The doctor explains how even the foreskin can increase the risk of infection.

Biological fluids containing the virus remain in contact with the skin of the glans penis for longer because of the foreskin. HIV penetrates relatively easily through this thin skin, in which there are almost always microcracks or inflammations, and penetrates into immune cells (HIV) or neurons (herpes). Together, this increases the person’s risk of becoming infected.

There are several arguments against this claim. First, herpes viruses are among the most common infections in humans, including oral herpes. 90% of people have Human Herpesviruses: Biology, Therapy, and Immunoprophylaxis. , incurable Genital Herpes - CDC Fact Sheet. and not harmful to health: most infected people have no symptoms of Herpes Simplex Virus at all. World Health Organization. .

Secondly, for an orgasm, the circumcised penis needs to make more active movements that lead to cracks both on the head and in the vagina, and direct contact with an open wound also increases the risk of HIV infection. At the same time, studies prove Male circumcision for HIV prevention. that circumcision reduces the risk of acquiring HIV by 60%. But a condom reduces it by 80%. Condom effectiveness in reducing heterosexual HIV transmission. .

Moreover, circumcision alone is not a guarantee of safe sex - contraceptives to protect against STDs and HIV will still have to be used.

Do you still need to do circumcision or not?

If we are talking about circumcision for religious beliefs, this is only your choice. When it comes to surgery to prevent disease or simplify hygiene, you should soberly weigh all the chances of success.

Ask your doctor as many questions as possible about potential outcomes, statistics, and your analyzes. Perhaps the probability of losing sensitivity will be higher than getting cancer.

If it’s your child, then try to get the numbers from the doctors. For example, how many boys under the age of one year have urinary infections in your area.

This is not a routine procedure for getting rid of a useless area of the skin, but a full-fledged operation, which should be carried out exclusively by specialists. You must be aware of all the possible consequences: both positive and negative.

    Arguments against

    • Lack of hygiene and sanitization of tools. Operations should be carried out in a hospital. Field hospitals do not count, in the field it is extremely difficult to perform an operation so as to minimize the risks of wound infection. Therefore, almost guaranteed there will be formidable complications. It is strongly recommended to undergo therapy in a specialized hospital.
    • Danger of damage to blood vessels. The penis, including the foreskin, is well supplied with blood. Doctors have the skills of hemostasis, moreover, they do not work alone in the operating room. There is always one or more assistants. Having decided on such a stupid step as circumcision of the foreskin of a house, on one’s own strength, a person runs the risk of bleeding and dying of blood loss. This is an extremely dangerous adventure.
    • Lack of skills and experience. Doctors use special techniques to achieve high-quality, while mechanically and cosmetically good results, it is safe to carry out the procedure. A person even having circumcision experience and surgical practice is unlikely to be able to circumcise himself. Pulling the foreskin and cutting it off is not enough. This is only a gross simplification of the real procedure. There are risks to damage the bridle, the penis itself, and cut off part of the head. And this is only part of the possible problems that such a "surgeon" will inevitably encounter.
    • Negative cosmetic effects. To achieve a normal result, at least acceptable, you need to properly suture the postoperative area. Without the skills and experience (and even if there are any), it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to cope with this task.
    • Lack of equipment, tools. Not only skills are necessary, but also equipment. The names of the tools are many. In particular, a coagulator is widely used, which prevents further bleeding from the wound and, thus, is used as part of hemostasis.
    • Risks of critically dangerous complications. The likelihood of complications during surgery in a hospital is almost 1.5-3%. How to circumcise the foreskin at home with less risk? This is simply not possible.

In Kenya, circumcision has traditionally been accepted. Most often it is carried out in everyday conditions and by the forces of the community. The level of dangerous complications reaches 35% https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2995181/. These statistics are based on data from local clinics. Cases when a man did not go to the hospital are not taken into account.

    • In 16% of cases, uncontrolled bleeding develops.
    • More than 10% is a partial or complete amputation of the penis.

Circumcision of the foreskin at home is thus impossible. Like any other operation.

    How to proceed

Circumcision should be done in a specially equipped operating room, this is the work of the surgeon, not the patient himself. Before the procedure, the specialist prescribes tests, only then we can talk about surgical intervention.

The operation itself lasts about 40 minutes. For about another 1 month, you must adhere to the agreed restrictions.

Is it possible to do circumcision at home?

Many men are interested in how to do circumcision at home, and is it possible to carry out such a procedure on their own? Consider this issue from a theoretical and practical point of view. If in theory, then the manipulation does not present any difficulties, so it is quite possible to carry out circumcision at home. The operation is not intracavitary, therefore, opening the cavity is not required. Performing the procedure yourself is easy.

This information is confirmed by numerous reviews on thematic sites on the Internet. But whether you need to do this yourself, the question is different. If you think about it, there is a certain risk of complications after the procedure, which was carried out by the doctor. Therefore, to say that a man, not having a medical education, will do everything right, at least, is pointless.

Interesting: if we study non-medical, but more competent sources, then the rabbis argue that circumcision should be carried out by a specially trained rabbi (moel), and not a medical specialist. Manipulation is carried out in the synagogue or circumcised in men at home, but also not independently.

From a practical point of view, circumcision at home can be done, but the procedure is quite complicated and time-consuming. She will not consider cases when the manipulation at home is carried out by a highly qualified surgeon, despite the fact that technically it is also the removal of the foreskin of the house. Consider the picture when a man himself or with the help of a supporter who is not a doctor does circumcision.

To do circumcision at home, the following conditions must be met:

    1. Sterility. Any medical procedure involves a violation of the integrity of the skin, and pathogenic microorganisms, viruses and infections easily penetrate the wound surface.
    2. Expendable materials. For manipulation you will need disposable gloves, bandages, cotton wool, antiseptic drugs.
    3. Instruments for surgical intervention. During the operation, special clamps, scissors, threads and needles for seams are used.

Of course, another condition is the courage of a man. Nowhere without her.Anesthesia is also required. If the procedure is performed without pain relief, the likelihood of pain shock and poor outcome increases significantly.

Circumcision at home is carried out by the following method:

    • You should boil the entire medical instrument, put on latex gloves, and treat the work surface with an antiseptic. The reproductive organ is also treated, anesthesia is performed. It can be an injection with lidocaine or ultracaine,
    • Then the cut line is conditionally marked. In this case, the foreskin must be pulled so that the line is located behind the head of the reproductive organ,
    • Trim the foreskin, after pouring the entire surface with hydrogen peroxide, apply a tight bandage,
    • If something went wrong during home circumcision, you don’t need to pull it, you need to immediately call a team of medical specialists.

Fact: Self-circumcision has various consequences. First of all, this is bleeding, since the foreskin is equipped with large blood vessels and the smallest capillaries. The development of pain shock against the background of insufficient anesthesia is not ruled out, with severe pain the hand may “twitch”, as a result of which the penis is injured - the consequences are unpredictable and very diverse.

It is impossible to guarantee a favorable outcome of home manipulation. Something can always go wrong, as a result of which problems will have to be treated for a long period of time. In order to avoid harmful consequences, it is recommended to seek medical advice.

How to properly handle seams after circumcision?

So how to handle boys after circumcision? No need to wait for the wound surface to heal on its own. The waiting process can drag on for a long time, which leads to health problems - the wound will bleed for a long time, may fester, because pathogenic microorganisms have penetrated into it.

The wound will heal faster if it is treated in a timely manner. The first treatment is carried out on the second day after surgery. It is performed slowly and carefully so as not to bring to painful sensations. First of all, you should moisten the bandages that the doctor put on at the end of the medical manipulation. Wet with hydrogen peroxide. This is necessary so that the outermost layer of the dressing, which is adjacent to the flesh of the penis, painlessly moves away from the wound, without disturbing the sutures.

After removing the bandages, you need to carefully examine the joints of the seams and the adjacent skin. If dried blood or crusts are observed, then they are washed with any antiseptic. It promotes surface disinfection, removes contaminated dirt.

To speed up recovery after circumcision, the doctor may recommend an adult male or child baths based on potassium permanganate or Furacilin. Several warm potassium permanganate crystals or one tablet of furatsilin are added to warm water; they are thoroughly kneaded. Lower the penis into the solution with the medicine, rinse the seams. It is necessary to gently press on them to exclude the process of pus formation. After manipulation, wet the penis with a dry towel.

What to smear after circumcision? To speed up the healing process, use antiseptic creams or ointments with antibiotics:

    1. Tetracycline ointment,
    2. Levomekol,
    3. Gentamicin,
    4. Geoxysone.

Tip: it is recommended to apply the ointment gently with a thin layer using a cotton pad or swab. You do not need to rub the medicine, it absorbs itself into the skin. After applying the ointment, a bandage from a sterile bandage is applied.

It is necessary to change the dressing 3-6 times a day. The multiplicity is due to the state of the wound surface in men. Each replacement involves a full wound treatment. Procedures are carried out within 7-10 days after the intervention.Over time, you can reduce to one dressing change per day, if there are no signs of the inflammatory process and reproductive organ edema.

    Postoperative head and suture care

How long does male circumcision heal? The duration of rehabilitation is determined by the individual characteristics of the body. For example, in an adult, complete healing is observed within 3-8 weeks. In childhood, everything heals a little faster - usually within one month.

If after manipulation there is a strong pain syndrome, then the use of pain medication is allowed. You can take:

In addition, it is necessary to use creams of analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties - they relieve pain, level discomfort in the head and sutures, and prevent the development of the inflammatory process. Recommended use of funds:

If the patient has itching and burning of the penis, then you can make baths based on oak bark and pharmacy chamomile. But such manipulations are permissible only in the late rehabilitation period - from two weeks or more.

It is worth knowing: to accelerate the healing process, the use of special underwear for adults and children is allowed. Panties for circulation are made of cotton fabric, have a special frame on the inside - it takes the shape of a penis. Their need is justified for young children or men who are in constant motion.

    Pros and cons of circumcision

If you put into the background the religious and cultural aspects of circumcision, then you can give quite objective reasons for this procedure - treatment of phimosis, a decrease in the risk of cancer, and an increase in the duration of sexual contact.

The benefits of the procedure are as follows:

    1. Excision of the foreskin helps prevent cancer in men.
    2. An increase in the duration of sexual intercourse. This aspect is based on the fact that the skin on the head of the penis loses a certain amount of sensitivity, as a result of which, during frictions, a man can restrain ejaculation longer.
    3. Circumcision is an effective AIDS treatment. It is proved that the virus primarily penetrates the foreskin, and then spreads throughout the body. At the same time, statistics note that most infected men are uncircumcised.

Another advantage of medical manipulation is its aesthetic appearance. However, this plus is a subjective opinion. There are people who, due to a certain upbringing, are embarrassed or repelled by the wrinkled skin of the foreskin.

Less procedure a bit. First of all, it is a severe pain shock. In the process of manipulation, the patient is hurt, because anesthesia is not always used, for example, if excision of the foreskin is carried out for religious reasons. Another disadvantage is hygiene issues. The foreskin of the penis helps cleanse the head of the organ. After the manipulation, you need to take care of the head yourself, as this can lead to infectious and bacterial diseases.

Circumcision should be performed in a specialized clinic, since home experiments can end in tragic consequences, up to head necrosis. During the rehabilitation period, it is necessary to carefully process the seams, take all the drugs that the doctor recommended.

Attention! Information given for informational purposes. Be sure to consult a specialist doctor about this.

Nowadays, it is generally accepted that circumcision of the foreskin is a procedure that is intended exclusively for people of a particular nationality and religion. For example, among Muslims and Jews, it is almost obligatory, as it has been since ancient times. With the development of progress and interracial integration, circumcision has become more popular, stereotypes are gradually disappearing among men, and they learn for themselves that this operation is not so much a relic of the past as a good practice, a step towards hygiene and a rich sex life. It is not surprising that many citizens of the Russian Federation are interested in the price of this service, and also curious to find out who did the circumcision, see explanatory photos and videos.

    The essence of penis circumcision

Circumcision - this term refers to the removal of the foreskin of the penis in men. Previously, this was done exclusively by surgery (let us leave in the past barbaric methods of cauterization with a hot iron). Nowadays, laser circumcision is also done. Laser cutting is considered to be less painful, and less blood is released, and since children are often subjected to the procedure, modern families prefer this method.

Surgery is recommended in young or young years: more than 50% of infant boys leave the maternity hospital circumcised. However, if there are no medical contraindications to this, the operation can be performed in adulthood. Each man has the right to decide for himself whether he needs such a “option”, as well as consult a doctor to find out how much the service costs and whether it should be carried out.

    Causes of circumcision and background

If you put aside religious beliefs and family traditions, then the most common medical prerequisite for circumcision is a deviation called phimosis. Such a disease leads to the fact that the glans penis cannot open fully. This leads to a number of troubles, ranging from inflammatory processes in phimosis to problems with sexual activity. For example, a man suffers from hypersensitivity, which brings pain. And due to the fact that the head does not fully open, premature ejaculation occurs.

There are other reasons why circumcision is done:

    1. Defeat of the flesh with condylomas or other fungal diseases, infections,
    2. The risk of developing cancer
    3. Fusion of the frenum with the foreskin,
    4. Hypertrophied (enlarged) foreskin,
    5. Swelling of the glans penis due to the fact that the foreskin is too narrow and presses on the base,
    6. Urinary tract inflammation,
    7. Sexually transmitted diseases.

Before the surgeon starts the operation, a man or boy should learn about the need for the process, choose a method, and also agree on the cost of the operation. Circumcision is preceded by an examination of the body and passing tests. You should know that if an acute disease or a viral process in the body occurs during this period, circumcision is contraindicated.

    The benefits of genital mutilation

    • According to the reviews of those who performed the operation, personal hygiene really became easier.
    • Comparing "before and after", especially if there were problems with opening the head, the risk of developing an infection and contracting sexually transmitted diseases is much lower after surgery,
    • Under the foreskin, with an unclean lifestyle, smegma can accumulate (protein is an unpleasant smelling secretion based on secretion),
    • According to preliminary studies, circumcision reduces the risk of cancer, as well as AIDS,
    • Well, to make sure that circumcision effectively affects the duration of sexual intercourse and increase authority among women, just visit any online forum.

The World Health Organization recommends the practice of circumcision surgery in Africa and other countries where the risk of catching HIV is very high and personal hygiene is not always possible due to an elementary lack of clean water and detergents. There is also an interesting suggestion that the partners of those men who have circumcised foreskin also reduce the risk of developing a cancerous tumor in the cervix.

    Are there any downsides?

Negative factors are always present, in this case one of the most dangerous is the surgical intervention itself and its consequences:

    • Long wound healing
    • Bleeding and severe pain in the first days after surgery,
    • The risk of infection at the time of tissue regeneration,
    • Due to the deprivation of the head of a member of a natural lubrication, the skin on it may dry out, become rough, crack,
    • Penile deformity,
    • The appearance of scars and scars.

Note that the last paragraph applies only to those who decided to self-circumcise at home or found an unscrupulous "cheap" doctor. Because in good clinics circumcision is done in compliance with the rules, under good anesthesia. A laser operation, in principle, leaves no scars. Even if there was an experience of unsuccessful intervention, you can decide to re-circumcise or, if necessary, plastic bridle in one of the leading metropolitan clinics.

Unfortunately, some orthodox peoples who profess Islam and Judaism have a tradition of circumcising at home, without anesthesia for babies. For 1000 cases of such an “operation”, 1-2 deaths occur, because the baby is bleeding or dying from pain shock. Or also from the fact that the knife for the operation or other device for cutting were not sterile.

Still have to come to terms with the fact that sex life in the first weeks after circumcision will be scarce. Not that a man does not have a desire, but each friction will bring pain, and it will be extremely difficult to achieve an orgasm for the same reason. But still, if you weigh the pros and cons, throwing the horror movies aside, circumcision should be called a civilized and useful procedure. It’s only worth doing it at a conscious age and only by the will of the patient.

    Types of circumcision

First we note that circumcision can be of several types or styles:

    • Full - is made to open the head along the entire diameter. It is called a tight excision.
    • Incomplete or partial - designed to expose part of the head. Usually this is the area of the urethra and seminal canal, from where fluids are released from the body. That is, an area requiring special hygiene.
    • Minimum - circumcision, which is recommended in cases of uneven skin growth or fusion of the frenum with the head. In fact, this is a plastic surgery to remove a defect in the penis.

The urologist, venereologist or other specialist who advises before the operation will notify you which method to choose. He is also required to explain to you what this or that circumcision gives and whether or not to perform the operation in your case. Since you have to make a very responsible decision, choose in advance where to do the operation - the clinic should arouse your confidence and location.

    What method to do circumcision?

We will not consider the “home” type of circumcision, since this is a very responsible operation and in 95% of cases with inept handling of the flesh leads to complications. It is best to order circumcision in a clinic where the instruments are sterile and the intervention takes place under appropriate conditions, under general anesthesia and strict medical supervision.

A classic way is circumcision with a scalpel: after an injection of local anesthesia, the foreskin is pulled off with tweezers and cut off in one motion. Circular excision is also practiced, but again, with an inept approach, this is fraught with wounds of the penis and even amputation of the head.

The laser method is considered less traumatic. After the operation, almost no edema and bleeding is formed. If we are talking about child circumcision, it is psychologically easier for a child to prepare for this method than talking about cutting off the skin with a knife.Sometimes right after surgery, you can produce a plastic frenum. The cost of the service is from 40 to 60 thousand in different regions of Russia. The highest cost in the capital, but here the level of surgery is much more developed. It is Moscow clinics that offer effective and painless laser cutting, which leads to favorable healing, successful cosmetic effect and reduction of pain during the rehabilitation period.

Male circumcision: how to do it and how it looks

Male circumcision is a surgical procedure that involves the complete or partial removal of the foreskin of the penis. In medicine, this operation is called circumcision. As for which doctor makes circumcision, this is completely the work of a urologist and surgeon, they also conduct preliminary consultation.

There are a lot of reasons for such an operation, it can be religious beliefs, doctor's recommendations and the aesthetic side of the issue. One sixth of the modern male population of the planet went through a similar surgical intervention.

This group includes representatives of different ages and nationalities. There is still an opinion that the removal of extreme tissue is practiced only among Muslim boys and Jews, this is a misconception.

Europeans are actively taking this procedure, each of its own considerations.

    Phimosis

This pathology is in the first place, not religious beliefs, as many people think, but this disease. Phimosis is characterized by the fact that it is impossible to completely expose the head of the penis. The foreskin tapers up, making it difficult to lower and expose it. In this case, the following can be observed:

    • Hygiene disorders
    • Difficulty with normal urine output,
    • Hypersensitivity of the penis,
    • Short intercourse and quick ejaculation.

Circumcision helps reduce sensitivity, thereby improving the quality of a man’s sexual life. Also, getting rid of the soft body minimizes the appearance of a different rose of infectious diseases.

    Aspect of Religion and Tradition

These reasons also play a significant role. For some nations, the tradition of circumcision has been transmitted for centuries, and is considered something obligatory and taken for granted. Jews and Muslims most often practice circumcision in boys who are under the age of majority.

Why do Muslims do circumcision? This is directly related to Islamic dogmas, it is believed that the boy who went through this procedure, takes the path of the Prophet Muhammad.

Now the boy is completely cleansed and ready to follow the holy road. For parents, this is a great holy feast, after the rite of circumcision, the head of the family organizes a chic feast on which drinking alcohol is excluded. As for age indicators, each nation has its own framework:

    • Arabs - 5-7 years old,
    • Persians - 3-4 years,
    • Turks - 8-14 years old.

The aesthetic side of the issue

Uncut member has a wet and slightly slippery head. If the outermost tissue is absent, then the upper part of the penis becomes dull and dries. Adherents of this operation believe that in the first case, the penis looks dirty and unattractive. And male circumcision makes the penis aesthetically more beautiful.

    External genital hygiene

Circumcision is considered the main hygiene measure in the care of male genital organs. Most of all, this is necessary in a dry and hot climate. In the presence of extreme skin, smegma is produced on the penis. This secret plays the role of a lubricant between the tip of the penis and the terminal tissue.

But there is a downside, in such conditions various bacteria are very actively propagating, which can provoke diseases and inflammatory processes. If a man does not have sex for a long time, smegma begins to decompose and can cause infection. To prevent this from happening, you must wash it, but it is not always possible.

Therefore, circumcision in men is the best option for maintaining hygiene.

    The main types of circumcision

In modern medicine, there are several basic techniques for getting rid of the soft tissue of the penis. The method directly depends on how the operation will be performed and how the penis looks in the end. The most popular methods:

    • Trimming of the minimum type is the removal of a small part of the skin, allows you to save all its functions and slightly reduce the size,
    • Excision of the full part - in this case, most of the soft tissue is removed than during the first operation, the tip is only slightly covered. This option often uses laser clipping,
    • Removal of the free type is the most common type, part of the penis in the erect state is fully open,
tight cutting is the rarest method; the tissue is completely removed. After this procedure, the skin stretches strongly, and becomes thinner.

    Professor, doctor urologist-andrologist A. Tachko:
Medical practice: more than 30 years.

Most doctors are convinced that the phallus can only be increased by surgery. However, this method is very dangerous. In addition, it gives a temporary effect.

Therefore, men still try to find for themselves a simpler and cheaper way to solve the problem with the size of the body.

Any method of penis enlargement, which is carried out at home, can really add a few centimeters to an insufficiently large organ. But men should understand that such procedures often lead to the development of unpleasant health consequences.

If they still want to make their phallus a little bigger, then they should seek the help of a specialist. He will tell you the most effective and safe option for penis enlargement, which will save a man from his complex .. To date, the most popular cream for penis enlargement is Titan gel

    Operation Styles

In addition to the main types, doctors determine some styles of circumcision in men:

    • High removal option - there is a complete excision of the flesh, which is located on the outside, while the internal prepuce remains untouched, the options for the location of the surgical suture are different,
    • Low deliverance - on the contrary, the internal tissue is removed, and the external prepuce remains intact, then the seam is located directly under the groove, it is actively used for laser cutting,
    • Tight circumcision with a low type - excision of the entire extreme prepuce occurs, the skin on the penis is very tight, and in a relaxed state, the penis seems smaller.

You yourself choose which method to give preference. How much circumcision costs also depends on the type of procedure, for detailed information, you must consult your doctor. He will recommend the best option based on your individual characteristics.

Laser cutting is the best way for children

This technique is considered the least painful, so it is often prescribed for children. Rehabilitation after such excision is very fast. And the healing process itself does not bring such discomfort as, for example, with tight removal.

Andrey K. from Moscow: “Thank you for allowing me to share the experience!” I used the pump for a long time (about a year or so), and the effect was always short-lived - as soon as the member “fell” everything ended. Yes, and I did not like the consequences - after that the member was always sick. This is not normal, I think. A friend from the forum advised using VIP Titan Gel cream - and after that I was really happy! For a couple of months, I increased my penis by three centimeters and they still hold on! Just in case, I also use a pump, but not often already. I’m thinking of giving it up. ”

Thanks to the laser tool, the incision is accurate, and the scar itself is almost invisible.

As a result, no cosmetic defects were observed. In addition to these positive points, there are several other factors that have made laser surgery so popular:

    • Lack of edema,
    • Maximum sterility of the operation,
    • Harnesses and dressings are not used,
    • Coagulation of soft tissue at the incision site eliminates any kind of bleeding,
    • This circumcision is carried out quickly, using local anesthesia.

    How is male circumcision done?

The procedure itself, regardless of type and style, is carried out according to the main scheme, which includes the following steps:

    • Incision and removal of tissue, which allows to expose the head of the penis,
    • Hemostasis - stopping vascular bleeding,
    • Overlay seams on the incision, most often use materials that absorb independently,
    • Sterile dressing.

Does circumcision hurt? The answer to this question is unequivocal, the procedure is rather painful. Before conducting the doctor individually selects the type of anesthesia, taking into account the main indicators of the body.

These uncomfortable sensations are explained by the fact that the tip of the penis, and the genital organ itself, are very sensitive and have a large number of nerve endings.

But this is far from the main aspect, because circumcision helps to solve a large number of problems and prevent the development of infectious diseases.

    All about male circumcision

Some still consider circumcision of the foreskin to be medieval barbarism. Others independently come to such an operation for hygienic reasons. Perhaps, there is not so much rumor and debate about a single procedure as this one. What are the true consequences of circumcision, is it worth it to do - let's try to figure it out together.

When asked why circumcision, you can hear almost a dozen different answers. Most often, religious considerations are mentioned. And far from many people know that for such a procedure there are objective medical indications. And some generally confuse her with castration.

    Religious motives

Various ceremonies associated with circumcision exist mainly among the eastern and southern peoples. There is a scientific justification for this. In a hot climate and the absence of even enough water even under the foreskin to comply with the elementary rules of personal hygiene, bacteria often accumulated under the foreskin, which caused inflammatory processes and impaired male reproductive function.

For Jews, the rite of circumcision is performed as a sign of the boy's belonging to this ethnic group. It is part of a “contract with God,” a strict obligation that must be strictly observed. Uncircumcised Jew simply will not accept society. And even if only he knows about it, due to the national mentality, such a boy or man will feel very uncomfortable.

In some nations, circumcision is practiced in adolescence as a rite of sexual initiation. It demonstrates that the boy has turned into a man and can enter into intimate contacts and choose his wife. Such ceremonies are usually group and held once or twice a year in the presence of numerous relatives.

    Which age is better

Experts say that for religious and social reasons, circumcision is best done in infancy. There is still not a large number of nerve endings on the skin of the baby, and the procedure is performed without the use of anesthetics. And because of the high regeneration rate, the wound heals already on the second or third day.

Circumcision in men and boys over 14 years old is done under local anesthesia. Most often, head treatment with a gel that reduces skin sensitivity is enough, but sometimes you have to inject lidocaine or another drug.

At this age, healing takes longer, and after the procedure a slight increase in temperature is possible. But in general, circumcision is well tolerated.

    What gives circumcision

    • the penis looks more neat and aesthetically pleasing,
    • it is more convenient from a hygienic point of view,
    • the sensitivity of the head is slightly reduced, which makes it possible to prolong sexual intercourse,
    • the risk of infection is reduced, since bacteria usually penetrate through microtrauma in the foreskin,
    • the partner is less likely to become infected with the human papillomavirus or other STDs,
    • infectious diseases of the genitourinary system develop less often and prostatitis occurs.

It would seem, really - some pluses. But why then are doctors still not recommending circumcision to all boys without exception? Basically, due to possible complications that occur when improperly performed.

    Execution technique

Special long-term preparation for circumcision is not necessary. It is enough to make sure that there are no active inflammatory processes in the body (especially in the genitourinary system), as well as normal blood coagulation. Two weeks before the procedure, you can not take anticoagulants.

Today, if you wish, you can see how circumcision is done on numerous posted videos. The procedure is really quite simple and takes no more than 20-40 minutes. Schematically, it looks as follows:

    • the patient is anesthetized
    • he lays on the table in a supine position,
    • the foreskin is cut with a scalpel in a circle,
    • the skin is pulled along the penis and fixed with clamps,
    • at the base of the head, the inner sheet of skin is cut,
    • the excess part is cut off,
    • both layers of skin are joined by self-absorbable sutures,
    • an annular bandage is applied to the head.

In the absence of severe bleeding, the patient can go home after 15-20 minutes after the operation.

    Rehabilitation

Full rehabilitation after removal of the foreskin lasts no more than 2-3 weeks. On the first day, fairly strong pain may be present, therefore, analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs are allowed. Edema and small bruises usually disappear already on 3-4 days, and by the end of the first week the wounds heal completely.

To avoid infection, you must carefully follow the rules of personal hygiene. When washing and after a shower, it is important to be as careful as possible, try not to damage the seam or tear off the formed crusts.

Healing gels and ointments can be used. But from an intimate life will have to abstain for 2-3 weeks.

    Recommendations

There are no successful cases of circumcision on their own. He who circumcised himself received serious health problems. Sexual function, at least. Therefore, there will be only one recommendation. It is necessary to treat phimosis and other diseases that require surgery (or on their own, to extend sexual intercourse, for religious reasons) to a urologist or andrologist. Other options carry enormous risks.

Religious people should not be taken into account, because circumcision in such cases is carried out as a tribute to tradition, but the risks are still high. Focus on the Jews, Muslims in this matter is definitely not worth it. Moreover, “local” specialists are well acquainted with their work, although they carry out it in artisanal and not very suitable conditions.

    Case Study

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18466267 - Male 30 years old. Uncontrolled bleeding 2 days after self-circumcision. 2 months of treatment. Subsequently, severe phimosis developed, which led to reoperation.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4941114/ - Male 21 years old. Loss of a lot of skin. Rehabilitation required a second complex and costly operation.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11919468 - Man 33 years old. Injury to the penis by a circumcision device. Conservative treatment was required. After recovery, circumcision was performed in a clinic.

    To summarize

According to reviews of most men, they like their own cropped penis more than uncircumcised. It is easier to care for him and it really makes it possible to significantly prolong the sexual intercourse and get even more pleasure from it, since there is no risk of breaking the bridle with careless movement.

The final result can be estimated by comparing the photo before and one month after the operation. The cost of circumcision is low - the price starts from 6-8 thousand rubles, but in metropolitan clinics it is much higher and can reach 20-25 thousand.

Is it possible to restore the foreskin after circumcision?

Then I discovered that intercourse is not as enjoyable as it could be.

I have great difficulty in stimulating the penis enough to ejaculate during intercourse. My wife is very understanding. We found that there are methods to restore the foreskin. But will this make the penis more sensitive again?

My wife printed a lot of information about various forms of stretching, etc., and about the use of steroid creams to stimulate cell growth and restore the foreskin.

Could you tell me what is my next step if I start the recovery program?
Can my doctor help me or do I need to contact a private doctor for help? I know that there are many points, and I would appreciate it.

    Answer

Uncircumcised men may experience difficulties, namely pain, inflammation and infection caused by dense foreskin, which can also interfere with making love.

I also read about the method of restoring the foreskin in reputable journals, but very few general practitioners, including myself, are always inclined to recommend undergoing such agony in pursuit of a very doubtful and uncertain result. The technique simply involves stretching the existing skin, using small weights to pull it forward above the head of the penis.

Obviously, there is very little free skin, and skin cells grow very slowly, just like skin grows over a transplant or an open wound ... It will take many months, even years, to achieve the growth of an artificial foreskin and with considerable discomfort and self-sacrifice.

Unhappy with the results of circumcision - how to save the situation?

I simply cannot recommend this, and there is also no guarantee that this will solve your problem of inadequate sensitivity. I think it's best to experiment with various lubricants such as Senselle or KY jelly. Using some sexual methods and adopting different sexual positions can allow you to ejaculate faster.

Focus on the things that motivate you the most and discuss them with your wife. You say that she is very understanding, so this should not be a problem.

I would avoid steroid creams at all costs, as this can thin the skin and leave it prone to injury and infection. I would definitely learn other methods before taking the long and arduous path of restoring the foreskin.

How to do circumcision for an adult

There are many legends and disputes about the circumcision operation; even the luminaries of medicine cannot unequivocally answer the question “Do I need to be circumcised?” For babies, the decision to circumcise is made by the parents, and the adult man must think it over himself.

    • What is circumcision?
    • How is the operation

In infancy, up to two months, the circulation is carried out without anesthesia. Older children are operated on under general anesthesia, and adult men undergo local injection anesthesia.

Before the actual operation, the doctor discusses the type of circumcision: complete, with complete excision and removal of the foreskin, or partial, when in rest, the head of the penis is slightly covered with foreskin. Both types of surgery are performed both for medical reasons and for aesthetic reasons.

After treatment with an antiseptic, the surgeon marks the border of the foreskin along which the excision will be performed with a special medical marker. In some cases, the foreskin is gripped by clamps, stretched and the doctor performs an excision along the marked border with subsequent removal of tissues.

This method is faster, but the organized scar may not be very aesthetic. Another method of operation is that the surgeon makes two incisions: on the inner sheet of the foreskin and on the outer. The remaining area of skin is removed. After that, both sheets are sewn together.

After surgery, sutures are placed on the wound, most often absorbable, which do not require removal. Further, the wound surface is closed with an aseptic dressing. For 10-14 days, the patient must go to dressings and observe a special regimen.

    How to circumcise properly

    Home> Home> Do> How to circumcise properly

Surgery to remove the foreskin (or part of the penis) in men and boys is called circumcision or circumcision - from the Latin circumcisio (“circle”). The foreskin is a movable fold of skin that covers the head of the male penis. It is also called "prepuce" from the Latin praeputium - foreskin.

Male circumcision: video operations, pros and cons

I decided to make a video of the operations that I perform. The idea was not as simple as it seemed at first glance: due to the specific lighting in the operating room, some fragments are highlighted, others are very dark. Operation sisters help to take pictures.

Circumcision of the foreskin is done in the following cases:

    1. Cultural and religious aspects.
    2. The narrowing of the foreskin is phimosis.
    3. Inflammation of the foreskin and head of the penis - balanoposthitis.
    4. Treatment of rapid ejaculation.
    5. As a stage of surgery in the correction of member curvature and denervation of the head.

This video shows the main stages of the circumcision operation (do not forget to include subtitles). I hope the video is helpful.

Circumcision of the foreskin is a surgical operation known since ancient times. It is believed that among ancient peoples circumcision was a substitute for the cruel rite of human sacrifice.

And also with the aim of limiting the sexual activity of the adolescent to reach the age of "initiation", which coincided with circumcision of the foreskin. There are also theories about the occurrence of circumcision in peoples living in a hot climate, for hygienic reasons.

Christians subsequently replaced circumcision with baptism, although until now some Orthodox churches (Coptic, Ethiopian, etc.) have preserved the rite of circumcision.

Currently, the foreskin can be removed for various reasons. This can be a religious ceremony (Jews, Muslims), determination of belonging to a particular people (Jews), following the fashion (80% of men born in the USA after 1970 are circumcised) or the presence of medical indications (phimosis, chronic balanoposthitis).

Circumcision for medical reasons and ritual circumcision are not the same thing and have completely different goals.

The essence of medical circumcision is to remove the foreskin of the penis and eliminate (or prevent) the narrowing, if any.

With medical circumcision, only a narrow strip of the foreskin remains directly under the head of the penis, plastic surgery of the frenum of the foreskin is mandatory.

With cicatricial phimosis, the skin of the penis is also excised within the limits of healthy tissues. The postoperative scar after medical circumcision is usually located near the glans penis.

In most cases, medical circumcision is performed in the operating room, under local anesthesia or general anesthesia, with suturing. Circumcision of newborns can be done using special clamps, in which case suturing is usually not required.

Ritual circumcision is different from medical. During the rite, a portion of the foreskin is removed, usually including partly the foreskin and partly the skin. At the same time, the bridle of the foreskin and the foreskin itself (producing smegma) are preserved.

This explains the possibility of rupture of the bridle, the appearance of an unpleasant odor, and even the appearance of phimosis in ritually circumcised men. The scar after ritual circumcision, as a rule, is rough and is located in the region of the trunk of the penis, closer to the middle.

Often during ritual circumcision, special ritual instruments are used, there is no anesthesia, which can be the cause of complications (damage to the penis, the formation of rough scars, etc.).

The attitude to circumcision in modern medicine is ambiguous. There are both supporters and opponents of circumcision.

The main arguments of the opponents of circumcision is that it is the foreskin that is the plastic material for restoring the urethra (urethra) in case of injury or serious diseases of the penis.Other reasons (the occurrence of complications, the risk of infection, pain) - do not matter, since when performing the operation by a qualified urologist in a modern operating room, their probability is negligible.

Supporters of circumcision have much more reasons:

    • Penile hygiene - the foreskin constantly gives off a special curd secret - smegma, which has an unpleasant odor and is a favorable environment for the growth of bacteria. There are studies claiming that smegma is carcinogenic and can trigger penile head cancer in men and cervical cancer in female partners. To prevent the accumulation of smegma, a man must either wash his penis with soap at least twice a day or circumcise and remove the foreskin
    • Prevention of phimosis (narrowing of the foreskin) - in many men for various reasons, the foreskin narrows and prevents the free removal of the glans penis. Circumcision eliminates phimosis and prevents possible complications.
    • Prevention of inflammation of the foreskin and reduce the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections. It has been reliably proven that circumcised men are less at risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. This does not eliminate the need to use a condom, but ceteris paribus, the likelihood of infection in circumcised men is lower.
    • An increase in the duration of sexual intercourse - in about half of men after circumcision of the foreskin, the sensitivity of the glans penis decreases, which allows you to make sexual intercourse 2-3 times longer. However, circumcision is not a treatment for premature ejaculation, it is only a beneficial positive side effect.

One can argue a lot about the pros and cons of circumcision. In any case, the decision to do or not to circumcise, every healthy man can make only himself. An exception is phimosis (narrowing of the foreskin). Circumcision of the foreskin is the only reliably effective method of treating phimosis.

During the operation, the foreskin and altered skin are removed to eliminate the narrowing ring, plastic of the foreskin frenum is performed. The operation is performed under local anesthesia and lasts 20-40 minutes.

During the operation, large blood vessels are ligated or sealed with the help of modern coagulators (electrocoagulator, laser, radio wave). The widespread belief that laser cutting is necessary is nothing more than a myth.

Moreover, skin incisions during circumcision should only be performed with a scalpel, because of the risk of damage to the urethra (urethra). After the operation, absorbable sutures are applied. Unfortunately, it is impossible to impose a cosmetic seam or solder the incision site with a laser or radio wave.

Since the penis changes its size during spontaneous erections. In this case, a cosmetic suture can form a strangulation and cause necrosis of the glans penis, and the absence of sutures will lead to divergence of the wound edges.

After surgery, the patient can immediately go home and do their usual business. If the work is not associated with heavy physical labor, then a sick leave is also not required.

It is necessary to limit physical activity in the first 2-3 days after surgery, and it is better to refrain from playing sports for two weeks. Also, before removing or completely absorbing the joints, it is not recommended to visit the sauna and pool.

Abstinence after surgery - 4 weeks.
